Product Description
The 3015 series eddy current sensors utilize the eddy current principle to deliver non-contact monitoring of shaft vibration, axial displacement
and speed in rotating machinery. The proximity driver supplies a high-frequency excitation signal to the probe, creating a high-frequency
alternating electromagnetic field at the probe tip.Eddy currents and opposing magnetic fields are induced on the target metal shaft surface,
and changes in shaft gap cause variations in the probe coil equivalent impedance. The proximity driver converts this impedance change into
a standard voltage signal, where the dynamic component reflects shaft vibration conditions and the static component corresponds to average
gap, delivering high-precision non-contact monitoring for continuous online monitoring of critical rotating equipment. The 3015 eddy current
probes are specifically designed for environments with limited space around the probe mounting location.
The system consists of probe, extension cable and proximity driver, capable of simultaneous dynamic and static measurements. It is primarily
used for monitoring radial shaft vibration, axial displacement, keyphaser and speed in rotating machinery. The system continuously monitors
rotor operating conditions, identifies fault characteristics such as imbalance, eccentricity, bearing wear and shaft cracks, and provides critical
data for early fault diagnosis.
