Product Description
The KM202EX casing vibration transmitter features an aluminum alloy terminal head with terminal output connections. It is a high-performance vibration and temperature transmitter designed for monitoring the periodic vibration of a wide range of rotating machinery. The transmitter is typically mounted on the bearing housing or machine casing to detect bearing degradation and measure absolute vibration.
The transmitter incorporates an integrated construction in which a shear-mode piezoelectric sensing element, together with the amplification and integration circuitry, is encapsulated within an internal metallic enclosure. The internal assembly is electrically and thermally isolated from the external stainless-steel housing. This dual-housing design prevents the formation of ground loops to eliminate electrical interference and minimizes the effects of thermal shock and mounting-base stress.
The transmitter operates on a two-wire, loop-powered configuration and provides a standard 4–20 mA output proportional to vibration amplitude. The output signal can be interfaced directly with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, providing reliable data to support predictive maintenance programs.
The instrument features a hermetically sealed construction with excellent immunity to electromagnetic interference and supports long-distance signal transmission. Its lightweight enclosure facilitates field installation, while its superior thermal conductivity enhances the stability and reliability required for continuous long-term operation.
